At Pavillon

Here is a band  you might want to take note of, because you will probably be hearing plenty from them this year: At Pavillon
They describe themselves as a being “kind of like a 1985 van, with the windows rolled down, driving against the indie-guitar-“THE”-hypes of the last decade”, an interesting description but fair enough.
The first single from the Viennese four-piece of Mwita Mataro, Bernhard Melchart, Clemens Martinuzzi and Philipp Jungwirth is an indie-pop power tune which gets better with each listen.
“Let him go” is taken from their upcoming debut album, which is set to be released in the autumn on Sonobelle Recordings. It smells like a hit to me and reminds me of one of my old favourites :Battle:
Check out the excellent video which accompanies the song below. It is produced by Glockenspiel and it has been a while since I have seen such a glossy production from a young band. It certainly hits the spot.
