Mozes And The Firstborn

Siluh records have gotten themselves a bit of a reputation in recent times for bringing out gritty, garage pop in the shape of bands like Sex Jams and Mile Me Deaf. Mozes And The Firstborn are the next to join the list. The debut album from the Dutch band will be officially released in Austria, Germany and Switzerland by the Viennese label on the 20th of September and it will be definitely worth waiting for.
Tunes like We Got Skills, Peter Jr and Bloodsucker don’t simply politely ask you for your attention. They grab you by the short hairs and demand you take notice, and take notice you certainly will.
Influenced by  70s garage rock, Mozes And The Firstborn make music with a “we don’t give a fuck” attitude a la Black Lips, and the band is starting to make a name in both Europe and America. With a very busy touring schedule across Europe also planned this summer (see below), there will be no doubt that the name Mozes And The Firstborn will be heard a lot more over the next few months.
