Things to see and do: 01.07 – 07.07

The live music scene continues to be dominated by festivals, which is of course a wonderful thing, but it also means that there are not too many small gigs to see in Vienna at the moment.
Here is what you should be spending your time doing this week in our humble opinion.

Acoustic Summer

Over the course of the next few months B72 will be putting on acoustic sessions for FREE. It all kicks off tonight with Keiner mag Faustmann / philipp&julia

Interlude Festival No.1 @Theater Akzent – 02.07

Queens of the Stone Age are also playing on Tuesday night, but we recommend going to the Interlude festival instead. Two days of music with top bands. If you have never experienced Attwenger live, then you should go just for that, but it might be a good idea to take an interpreter, preferably from Upper Austria.

INK BDAY BASH 2013 @B72 -04.07

The Viennese record label will be celebrating in style on Thursday night in B72 for their 12th!!! birthday. Lots of surprises have been promised and it has already been announced that the THE CHECK SONS with members of the bands Catastrophe & Cure, GARISH, The Beth Edges, Likewise and more will be playing. Worth heading to the Gürtel just for that.

Harvest Of Art Festival – Warm Up @Arena – 05.07

The Harvest of Art festival is just around the corner and to get everyone in the mood for this a warm-up gig will be played in the Arena with CALEXICO , AMANDA PALMER & THE GRAND THEFT ORCHESTRA,  JAMIE N COMMONS  and DEPEDRO
If you are looking for a more intimate affair, then head down to Fluc to check out Tschok at their release party on the Konkord record label.

If you think we have missed anything or want to tell us about your band/event/party/Rick James tribute night then send us an email at or on Facebook
