Things to see and do – 21 – 27.10

Another wonderful week of autumn fun in Vienna with copious amounts of musical indulgence to be had. Here are our recommendations for the week.

Die Goldenen Zitronen @Brut- 21.10

The Hamburg legends will be giving Brut a bit of sour gold on Monday night as they present their new album “Who’s bad”. The band have been around for almost 30 years by the way, fuck me.

Luise Pop @GarageX- 23.10

Luise Pop will be playing in the first district on Wednesday at the underground theatre Garage X. Their energetic mixture of pop punk is always fun to watch.
If you haven’t heard it yet, check out their split 7″ with Half Girl here

Der Hut 3 Bands @Badeschiff – 24.10

AT PAV

Our major recommendation of the week. At Pavillon will be playing alongside The Midnights and The Sleep Twitch at Badeschiff. If supporting local upcoming talent is your thing, then this should float your boat, literally. Free entry/donation for these three bands also makes it a no brainer.
Tanz Baby will also be playing their “last ever gig” in WUK with special guest appearances from Bilderbuch, Bo Candy & his broken Hearts, Garish, Fijuka, Violetta Parisini.
For lovers of music with a little more oomph, No Age will be playing in Flex supported by Gran.
We Walk Walls are also playing in Chelsea alongside Rotifer.

Just Friends and Lovers w/ Robotra @Rhiz – 25.10

It will be another sweaty, intimate affair at Rhiz with Just Friends and Lovers and Robotra taking to the stage.

The Wave Pictures @ Chelsea- 26.10

Another classic indie band, this time in Chelsea brought to you by Teenbeat Club Concerts. The Wave Pictures are no strangers to Vienna, and it looks set to be another evening of wit, gawky glee and romanticism.
