A few years ago they were headlining the FM4 Birthday bash at the Arena Open Air, they will be playing a more intimate gig this time. Go there if you like dancing.
Dancing is also the name of the game at Flex as they start an new era of Tuesday nights. Ghost Capsules will be playing live along with dj’s like Smacs & Patrick Kong and Ken Hayakawa
∆ SALON 2OOO ∆ pres. TOTALLY WIRED RECORDS SHOWCASE @Celeste – 07.11
Totally Wired Records will be having a release party on Thursday to celebrate The Dictaphone’s first LP. The French Psych Garage/Rock’n’Roll/Noise Punk one man show will be supported by Dot Dash. All of this will be part of a Salon 2000 night in Celeste. Definitely worth checking out.
If you’re looking for something a little more “well known”, then Yo La Tengo might ring a bell. They are playing in WUK.
Feeling in a more political, protest song and skiing kind of mood? Then Christoph and Lollo in Schutzhaus Zukunft as part of Bock auf Kultur is where you should head.
The Naked and Famous W/ Farewell Dear Ghost @ Gasometer – 08.11
The band from New Zealand had one of THE tracks of the year a few years back, and they have returned with a more rockier 2nd album in 2013 called In Rolling Waves. Support will be provided by up and coming local talent Farewell Dear Ghost. Dream pop filled fantasia will be what fans can expect at this one.
Thees Uhlmann @Arena – 09.11
The German indie pop legend will be gracing the Arena to play with his band on Saturday. It will be epic as usual with sing-a-longs and anthems coming thick and fast. He recently played in Linz, and it was pretty damn awesome. Go there if you have the chance.
DEAD MEADOW + CHARLES HOWL @ Arena Dreiraum – 10.11
The Arena should be your destination of choice on Sunday night as well as Dead Meadow and Charles Howl play the Dreiraum. Psychedelic and garage rock with fuzzy guitars to get the blood pumping on a Sunday night.
SCOUT NIBLETT @ Stadtsaal / Samt / Untergrund – 11.11
Monday nights are like Sunday’s, sometimes you just don’t want to leave the house, not unless there is a very good reason. Well, here is one. Gigs in the Stadtsaal are always good. A Scout Niblett gig in the Stadtsaal will be pretty damn special. Lo-fi indie folk rock with lots of emotion and raw power from Emma Louise Niblett which will hit you deep.
