Get on your dancing shoes. Gigs are on the way.
Swearing at Motorists@ Fluc – 06.02
Critically acclaimed and commercially unsuccessful since 1995 is how the band describe themselves. After 9 years without a release they have brought out a limited 7” on Siluh Records and are currently touring Germany and Austria. Dave Doughman is known for his love of getting up close and personal with the crowd, and the avid St.Pauli fan and Hamburg resident won’t disappoint in Fluc as they celebrate the EP release.
If your looking for some good old German-language music, than Die Höchste Eisenbahn in B72. Good music guaranteed with the Gute Club!
SEAYOU LABEL NIGHT w SQUALLOSCOPE @ Fluc- 07.02
SEAYOU will be enjoying a night in Fluc with Anna Kohlweis aka Sqaulloscope on Friday. The artist will be playing the songs off her recent Desert EP with plenty of pop, poetry and story-telling to be had. Donation entry.
BEACH GIRLS & THE MONSTER @ Rhiz – 08.02
BGTM made it into quite a few of the “best of 2013” lists on SiM, and rightly so. The band will be bringing a touch of summer to the Gürtel with a few news songs in their beach bag.
Ezra Furman & The Boyfriends @ Chelsea – 09.02
Ezra Furman returns to Vienna with a brand new and critically acclaimed album and is definitely one of the highlights of the weekend. To say that we have been playing this album to death recently is an understatement. They will be supported by local lads and firm SiM favourites Fesch (the band formally known as The Fritz), who will be playing their first gig under their new name. A moment of history will be made…
Ian Fisher & The Present @ Fluc – 10.02
The very talented Ian Fisher & The Present return to Vienna to play alongside Town of Saints in Fluc on Monday night. His combination of Americana folk is perhaps the perfect cure for the Monday evening blues.
Here’s the band playing on the top of a volcano..
