Mile Me Deaf – Shiver
Released at the start of May on Siluh Records, Holography is the band’s 2nd album with Shiver being the flag ship single. It is a continuation on the solid work of the first album and sees Wolfgang Möstl once again in top form as he continues to be one of the most productive Austrian musicians out there. If you like this, then check out his other bands Killed by 9V Batteries, Sex Jams and Goldsoundz. Get it here
Colours – you were mine
Not much we know about this band. They are featured on the upcoming beko_401 oz doit better _ in collaboration with peking tapes which is set to be released on the 19th of June. This song just has something lethargically entrancing about it, which deserves attention.
Beta Frontiers – So Cold f/ Carmen Elle
“So Cold” is a warm, balmy track, meant to be heard during one of those long summer days just as it’s breaking for night. Showing a more restrained, and laid back side to Beta Frontiers, the song begins with the sound of glowing, fazed-out synths that only subside to give room for Carmen Elle’s (DIANA, Army Girls) playful vocals.
Hailer – Cold Outside
Hailer is a psychedelic rock band spawned from the innerwest of Sydney, Australia. their music contains a raw, jangled-up energy that stems from serious time on the road — weak coffee, sugary food, nutrient hits, lack of sleep, dust, smoke, beer, fumes and endless highways stretching out in front of the van. Their new album is called El Cosmico, and was recorded on the tailend of their tour in Texas.
Gran – The Rise And Fall Of The Crazy Guy
Austrian artist Gran makes music you have to fight with. But as is often the case, you become best friends after giving each other a bloody nose, and you will feel much stronger, wiser and happier for having the balls to jump in and battle the beast. Gran’s first full length record “Chair” came out on Totally Wired Records at the end of May and can be bought here
