RITUAL – BLOOD FLOW

R I T U A L are the latest addition to the Charmfactory family, and this is the third track to be heard from their forthcoming debut EP ‘The Fall’, which is set to be self-released on December 1st. ‘Blood Flow’ deftly combines elements of hip-hop and RnB in its hypnotic, swaying percussion, carried by the band’s intelligent use of electronically-skewed marimbas, and thick warbling bass.

CASA DEL MIRTO – THE HASTE

Casa Del Mirto means House of Myrtle and it is a truly appropriate name. The name Myrtle derives from the Victorian era of England. It has this enchanting, beautiful simplicity to it, and the band play on that in their music. The Italian collective are set to release their upcoming full length ‘Still’ on January 26th via Ghost Records.

CITY REIGN – DISSAPEAR

City Reign are a band fighting to ‘save guitar music’. Their latest single Disappear, sees the band embark on a part daydream, part crushingly real portrayal of the daily grind.

THE PLASTICS – ALL I REALLY WANT

The Plastics are an Indie Rock band from Cape Town, South Africa that make music which you will find difficult to resist.

HONEYMILK – A SCENE IN BETWEEN

Honeymilk’s second single ‘A Scene In Between’, taken from upcoming EP ‘Sanguine Skies’. The song by the Swedes offers something slightly upbeat on a dark December morning.

PAPERWHITE – GOLD

Paperwhite’s introduction to the music industry this year culminates with the release of their debut EP, Magic. The New York sibling duo’s EP is out via Duly Noted Records, and is lined with crisp production & song hooks which you might be hearing more of in 2015.

HER MAGIC WAND  – EVERYTHING AT ONCE

Frenchman Charles Braud, otherwise known as Her Magic Wand recently released his first single called ‘Everything At Once’. It is an extract from his first album which was recorded in Paris over a period of 10 months, and was mixed last summer by Stephane ‘Alf’ Briat (Phoenix, Air, Sebastien Tellier).

WITCHING WAVES – FEAR OF FALLING DOWN

Witching Waves’ debut album ‘Fear Of Falling Down’ will be released on December 8th. Recording onto 8 track tape, they have put together a sound that is lo-fi but detailed; a sprawling soundscape that echoes 60s pop and garage with nods to the DIY underground.
