Black Box Radio are back, in EP form at least. After experiencing decent success with their debut album Underneath the Subsurface, the band wanted to take their time to write a few songs, get a couple of demos on tape before starting on anything big. But as the creative process often is, they ended up making much much more. The result is the “Urban Healer EP”, five songs which display BBR’s developing maturity. It is not as loud as “Underneath the Subsurface”. It is a little more world weary, a little wiser, a typical second offering.
